Minimum Stays

Because there are so many sights, restaurants and shops for you to enjoy in Cape May in every season, we recommend stays of several nights. Our Planning Your Vacation and Calendar of Events pages on this web site are helpful as you arrange your vacation. During the busy seasons, holidays and weekends, we accept reservations for three and sometimes four nights at a minimum. In November and January through March, we are able to offer 2 night weekend stays for your enjoyment. Weekdays, mid-September through mid-June, often offer attractive prices and more flexible booking minimums.

Deposit Information

Reservations should be made by telephone as far in advance as possible.

  • A deposit equal to the rate for two nights or 50% of the charge if more than four nights, is required to secure your reservation.
  • A reservation is not confirmed until deposit is received.
  • A three-week notice is required if you must change or cancel your reservation. If you cancel after that date, you will receive a refund of the deposit only if the room can be re-rented. All refunds are subject to an administrative fee of $25.

General Information

New Jersey State fire regulations prohibit smoking in all our buildings. Smoking is permitted only outdoors. We would suggest heavy smokers seek other accommodations. For fire safety reasons no candles or open flames are permitted in any portion of our property.

One of The Queen Victoria®'s most popular features is its central location in the historic district. Most of Cape May's attractions are within a few blocks of the inn, so you will not need your car once you arrive. Although parking meters are in effect from May through October, we have a convenient loading area for you around our buildings. We are pleased to provide handicapped parking at the Bed and Breakfast.
