Nature Center of Cape May

Waterfront Tours and Family Programs

Did you know that Cape May is one of the top places for bird watching in the United States?  You can see for yourself during your next summer vacation in Cape May at the Nature Center of Cape May, which has provided a birdwatching location and educational resources for almost 25 years!

The Center provides a number of free and guided activities.  At their location—just 6 minutes by car from The Queen Victoria—they have an observation deck and tour, upstairs lounge and several other areas open for the public.  You’re free to bring binoculars and get comfortable.  Several gardens, including themed ones that attract butterflies and hummingbirds, are also open for your perusal.

Finally, the Nature Center also hosts a number of special tours throughout the year down on the water with kayaking and paddleboarding, and through private wildlife gardens.  Take a look at the Nature Center’s calendar to plan your new favorite Cape May, NJ thing to do!
