This month we usher in Cape May Halloween Happenings which is just the start to three months of holiday celebrations here in Cape May. Upcoming is a slew of Halloween events, perfect for honoring the season of abundance, followed by Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday events, too. Scarecrow Alley | October 1st through November 2nd
Scarecrow Alley is here! Visit the Emlen Physick Estate for this spooky spectacle, complete with the best seasonal decorations Cape May has to offer. Walk the grounds, see the scarecrows, and then vote for your favorite ghoulishly gruesome or foolishly funny character. A longstanding tradition and favorite among locals and visitors, alike, Scarecrow Alley is Cape May’s premier Halloween event – much fun for everyone.
Sherlock Holmes Weekend | October 29th and 30th
Earlier this season we wrote about Sherlock Holmes Weekends here in Cape May. Guests rave about them – they’re a lot of fun. That’s why we’re excited for the upcoming weekend event, Making the Grade, new in fall 2021. Halloween Crafts & Collectibles Show at the Physick Estate | October 30th
Throughout the year, Cape May MAC presents a number of outstanding crafts and collectibles shows featuring the wares of artists and artesian from all over the East Coast. This show, however, is especially fun because it features several Halloween delights and decorations, plus seasonal food items and more.
Room of the Month | Kew Garden
The Room of the Month is Kew Garden. Kew Garden is a spacious room with a gas fireplace (perfect for chilly fall nights). Its bathroom is updated with a large step-in shower plus a sink with granite countertop, offering plenty of set-down space for cosmetics and toiletries.
Restaurant of the Month
The Restaurant of the Month is Merion Inn. Merion Inn offers excellent food in a traditional, candlelit setting. Enjoy dinner to the sound of live piano playing. Among our favorite dishes is the Merion Inn Potato Cup.
