Chocolate Lover’s Feast
It’s a bountiful feast for chocolate lovers! Enjoy seven plated courses of delicious chocolate desserts at the Blue Rose Inn, 653 Washington St., and hear how each was created from the chef who prepared it. Cape May’s Wild Site Trolley Tour
Beyond the charming Victorian homes and sandy beaches, Cape May is world-famous for its birdwatching, Monarch butterfly migration and natural history. Relax and be entertained in the birding capital of North America as you join Cape May Bird Observatory naturalists on a trolley tour to local “hotspots” (disembarking at several stops), learning about the diversity, abundance (millions of birds pass through each year), geography and extensive history of this amazing area.
East Lynn Theatre Company
Cape May is a true destination for theater lovers. The East Lynne Theater Company brings the American Spirit to the stage with its blend of provocative premieres and timeless classics. The company operates all year long so it’s a great place to visit, especially in the spring.
Carol Gallery Exhibits
Throughout the year, the Carroll Gallery in the Carriage House is home to changing exhibits that bring Cape May history to life. Visit scenes from the Victorian era or explore Cape May’s African American heritage. Through April 15, 2018, the gallery will feature Franklin Street School: From Segregation to Unification. The exhibit includes photographs, artifacts and recorded oral and video histories that chronicle the history of the School, the initial efforts to preserve and rehabilitate the building, and plans for the building’s expansion and completion.
Cape May’s Designer Show House
The historic 1911 John P. Forsythe House at 1601 Beach Ave. has undergone a magnificent, multi-million-dollar transformation! Owners Patrick & Kristen McGonigal invite you to step inside to see their architectural and design fantasies brought to life which will inspire dreams for your own home. The show house doesn’t open until April 27, but it’s something you won’t want to miss, so mark it on your calendars!
