Cape May Craft Beer & Crab Festival
New Jersey Summer Activities
Published on July 27, 2015
Coming up in August is an event that’s taken Cape May by storm; it’s the 4th Annual Craft Beer & Crab Festival!
Held on Saturday, August 8, this event features two East Coast favorites as well as live music, crafts, and a Victorian circus. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. over at the Emlen Physick Estate, you’ll find traditional summer picnic foods such as pulled pork, hamburgers, and hot dogs served alongside delicious crab. Anna Marie and I both love the wonderful restaurants Cape May has, but if you’re in the mood for a summer picnic featuring fresh crab this event is not to be missed!
Admission to the estate and grounds is free but food and beverages have their own associated costs. In the Craft Beer Tent, you’ll find beers from a variety of our local breweries including Cape May Brewing Company, Tuckahoe Brewing Company, and Victory Brewing Company.
At the Victorian circus, you’ll find The Give & Take Jugglers who have been wowing audiences for more than 40 years with their acts. This event is family-friendly and has an outdoor music stage with acts performing throughout the day as well.
We’d like to thank the Cape May Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) for sponsoring this new Cape May tradition. The MAC is responsible for the majority of our historical preservation efforts, tours, and many festivals. For more information about the festival, call 609-884-5404.
