Cape May Events continue to wow and coming up this week is one event you really won’t want to miss. The 6th Annual Craft Beer and Crab Festival is a family fun event located at the beautiful and historic Physick Estate Grounds and has become a favorite annual tradition. It doesn’t get much better than spending the day outdoors with family and friends, enjoying local craft beer, delicious food and live entertainment in beautiful Cape May, New Jersey.
The Craft Beer and Crab Festival at Emlen Physick Estate takes place this Saturday, August 5th from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Admission is free and the festival is family-friendly. No need to worry about hiring a babysitter this weekend. Pack up the kids and bring them along for a day of live music and other goodies. You can even bring your dog along if you think he needs to get in on the action. A complimentary dog water tent will be available to help keep your four-legged friend well hydrated. And the grounds have lots of trees to help shade your pet and grassy areas for lounging.
The festival features tasty summer foods such as steamed crab and shrimp, bacon on a stick, crepes, lobster rolls, fish tacos and hamburgers. Of course you will find there is much more to munch on than that at this festival. You’ll also enjoy craft beer from Cape May Brewing Co, 7-Mile Brewery, Ludlam Island Brewery and Slack Tide Brewing. Cape May Distillery Rum and Tito’s Vodka will also be on-hand to provide spirits for your Saturday afternoon.
Live music begins on the outdoor stage at 11am and features a full lineup for all day entertainment. You and the family will also enjoy an old-fashioned Victorian circus complete with jugglers and acrobats from The Give & Take Jugglers Little Circus. Be sure to save time for cruising the craft and collectible shows for some great finds. The Cape May Craft Beer & Crab Festival is a full day of fun right here in beautiful Cape May.
