Something to Look Forward to: Cape May Summertime Events
Here at The Queen Victoria, we’re so looking forward to summer. It’s a season full of fun things to do! Whether you’re looking to simply relax and enjoy the ambiance of lovely Cape May, or you’re more interested in attending local events, Cape May is the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful summer months.
What’s there to do?
Cape May Music Festival | May 26 – June 14
Once again, The Mid Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities (MAC) will present a series of Classical, Chamber, Jazz, and other classic musical concerts.
Unlike other music festivals that pack performance into a single frenzied weekend, the Cape May Music Festival takes a more leisurely approach, offering a few concerts each week for several weeks. Over the course of the festival, Cape May will see 14 different concerts most of which will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
BONUS: as always, Anna Marie and I are pleased to offer guests staying two nights or more with complimentary ticks to most concerts (some exceptions apply). If you love great music – and Cape May – this is the perfect event for you. Learn More.

New at The Queen Victoria | New Bathrooms in Covent Garden and Charing Cross
Every year we pick two or three big projects to complete during the quiet winter season. This year we chose to renovate the bathrooms in our Covent Garden and Charing Cross suites.
We’re thrilled with the way each project turned out. In both bathrooms, we utilized the space differently – and more efficiently – than we had before. We swapped out the pedestal sinks for quartz vanities with more set-down space and we also replaced the single-person whirlpool tubs with spacious step-in showers. Finally, we moved the toilet into its own room with a door (water closet), which is a design feature I really love, especially in a guest room, as it makes the bathroom so much more shareable for travelers (you!). Both Covent Garden and Charing Cross were always great rooms, and favorites of many of our guests. Now they’re better than ever!
We hope to see you soon! As you know, the summer season in Cape May is the most vibrant time of year. Here’s a full list of special events and activities in Cape May. To book your room, visit our Rooms page.
