The Whitehall room, which draws its name from the sprawling palace that sat along the Thames River in London, is one of our two newest Cape May rooms at The Queen Victoria. It is located on the 2nd floor of the Queen’s Cottage, one of just two rooms on the floor that share a private entrance in the front of the building. Whitehall is a large, premium room with a queen size bed with a dramatic custom canopy and matching drapes, a beautiful Victorian marble top dresser with mirror, a comfortable seating area located between two sunny windows, a spacious private bath with a large walk-in shower, TV/DVD, room safe, robes and iron/board. The Whitehall is Comforting luxurious Room, you will love.
Guests of Whitehall enjoy the semi-private use (shared with the Brighton room) of the magnificent sitting area/parlor and kitchen pantry which has a beautiful vista view out of 6 windows facing the western, sunset side of the house. Experiencing the rays of the setting sun as they filter through the trees into the parlor is unforgettable!
For our visitors that favor traveling with friends and/or family, we highly recommend reserving both the Whitehall and Brighton rooms and enjoying the entire 2nd floor of the Queen’s Cottage as a “Super Suite”. The privacy, comfort, and spaciousness of this option are unparalleled in Cape May.
