“Big Cheesy” Cheese Tasting Party | March 7, 2020
Coming up on March 7 is our annual “Big Cheesy” cheese-tasting party. Join us as we transform afternoon tea into an unforgettable cheese-lovers feast. Typically, we offer 15 delicious kinds of cheese and this year is no different. Plus, we serve outstanding bread, olives, olive oils, and roasted red peppers to boost flavor profiles.
We also know cheese-tasting is a thirsty enterprise. That’s why we encourage all attendees to bring a bottle of wine they LOVE and are happy to share (we’re not licensed to serve alcohol). This will make it a bit of a wine tasting event too!
Sherlock Holmes Mystery Weekend | March 13-15, 2020
Sherlock Holmes is back and this time he’s investigating the infamous Jack Frost who is trying to do away with someone that knows a little too much.
How to Play:
The Game’s Afoot: Friday 8:30 pm
Join Holmes and Watson for a meet-and-greet plus a cash bar at The Rose Room. Registration begins at 7 pm and seating begins at 8 pm.
Search for Clues: Saturday 1pm – 3pm
Start your search with a self-guided tour of bed and breakfast inns in Cape May, including The Queen Victoria! On this tour, you’ll explore several local establishments in search of clues to solve the mystery. During your investigation, talk to Sherlock and Watson. Ask them questions and get some answers.
The Game Continues: Saturday 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Join fellow sleuths back at The Rose Room and learn why Holmes is drawn to this case. Compare your findings and assess how you’re faring in your search?
Holmes Unlocks the Mystery: Sunday 12 pm
Finally, assembly once again at The Rose Room for a delicious lunch before the solution is revealed. Once the mystery is solved, the winners will be announced and prizes awarded, including the “Clueless Wonder” for the worst solution submitted.
Exit Zero Jazz Festival | April 17-19, 2020
This April, the Exit Zero Jazz Festival returns to Cape May. With it come several talented musicians from across the Jazz spectrum, both new and famous.
During the festival, the streets, restaurants, and clubs of Cape May ring loud with music. The town bursts with energy as international touring artists perform at one of the most respected jazz festivals in the country. This is truly a must-see music event.
