It’s officially spring and we’re so excited to welcome you to The Queen Victoria. There are many excellent reasons to visit us this season, first and foremost, the flowers around town are beginning to blossom. It’s a lovely time bursting with color and fragrance – and it’s just beginning. Trees, flowers, and foliage will continue to bloom throughout April and May.

Big Cheesy Weekend | April 17, 2021
Our Big Cheesy Weekend is back! Every spring we host a complimentary cheese tasting party for our reserved guests called the “Big Cheesy”. It’s a wonderful event complete with different cheese varieties and accompaniments to sample. Last time we offered 13 different kinds of cheese, including delicious cranberry brie bites that were a huge hit. We also served wonderful Semolina bread with special olive oil and balsamic vinegars, as well as roasted red peppers and olives. This year, look forward to more of the same, plus several new treats as well.
Chocolate Lovers Weekend | May 15, 2021
Also back this spring is our Chocolate Lovers Weekend. Most everybody adores chocolate. There aren’t many things in the world as universally loved. That’s why we’re delighted to host a chocolate-tasting party fit for kings. Typically, we offer a slew of specialty chocolates along with chocolate baked goods, an assortment of melted chocolate for drizzling fruit and biscuits, and much more. Visiting the inn and attending our Chocolate Lovers Weekend is an especially lovely way to celebrate Mother’s Day, which falls on May 9th this year. Book your room, gift it to mom, and celebrate a second time a week later.

Exit Zero Jazz Festival | April 23rd through 25th
In just three weeks the Exit Zero Jazz Festival is back and better than ever. The lineup is exceptional this year so, as usual, we’re looking forward to a fabulous show. Exit Zero will be conducted with outdoor seating space that respects all CDC and New Jersey state guidelines for physical distancing. That means more legroom and space between groups of seats!

Craft & Collectibles Show | April 24th and May 8th
The Craft & Collectibles show series begins April 24th and runs throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Visit us in Cape May and attend the first two shows dedicated to spring and featuring the wares of vendors and crafters from the Northeast. Find something special for yourself or get an early start on holiday shopping. Free to the public.
Combination Trolley & Physick Estate Tour
On this guided trolley tour through Cape May’s Historic District, you’ll enjoy learning about Cape May, its history, and Victorian heritage, plus you’ll have the opportunity to view Cape May’s beautiful architecture.
